Fastrans Express European are a family run transport business based near Trafford Park, Manchester. Founded in 1998, our mission was to help collect and transport temperature sensitive consignments to customers at home and abroad. We have a fleet of Satellite and Temperature monitored vans allowing us to locate each vehicle as well as view temperature ranges from -25ºC to +25ºC. Our drivers are GDP trained and skilled in transporting pharmaceutical, hazardous, medical and other temperature sensitive loads.

We cover the whole of Western Europe, most of Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Iberian countries, the UK & Ireland. Our fleet consists of 6 Vans with Live Satellite tracking. Out of the six, 5 are temperature controlled and 1 is an ambient vehicle. All our vehicles are equipped to handle all sizes of consignments, from single package to multiple pallets. Our dedicated service allows us to offer a flexible refrigerated service promptly and efficiently.

Whatever the cargo on board is, our drivers are skilled, equipped and dedicated to transporting the following:

Analysis
and Reporting

During transit, our head office gets live reporting of each journey. Wherever our drivers are, should requirements change, drivers need fuelling stations or best places to stay overnight, we can check in with each of them and update them quickly and efficiently.

Each mile travelled leaves with it a statistical trail which is gathered, collated and sent to the customer.

Vehicle
Monitoring

Collating the analysis and reporting starts with our modern fleet. Each vehicle is equipped with sophisticated temperature monitoring and reporting facilities. Each vehicle is also GPS tracked throughout Europe.

When the driver arrives at the final destination, full temperature reports are provided to the customer.

Safety
and Security

We understand some of the loads we carry are sensitive, this is one of the reasons we chose to keep our vehicles unbranded, so that would be attackers could not specifically target us.

Additional security has also been fitted to each vehicle.

Quality and performance
at the right price

We are always ready to serve our customers with the highest possible levels of quality and trusted logistic services. We ensure that as soon as a job has been placed with us, that the assigned vehicle will be at the designated place at the time it was stated. Our central Manchester hub is located minutes from the M60/M62 motorways allowing us to be operational at a moments notice.

Most of our deliveries are received ‘next day’ to many of the European destinations in which we transport to. We provide a full evaluation for the whole extent of the transport, from collection to delivery, which is then relayed with the customer upon receipt of goods and kept on file our end. Statistics and POD details are also sent with the customer’s invoice.

Our drivers are well trained, our office staff are on-point and our fleet is of a high standard, well maintained and ready to go. Everything we need to get your job done.

A high-quality fleet is a crucial factor for any successful transport company. Our fleet consists of 6 Mercedes Sprinter Fridges with a maximum carrying weight of 600 Kgs each. All our vehicles are well maintained and checked on a regular basis so that we can continue to offer the best service possible. Being a small company we operate on a one driver, one vehicle basis. Each driver has their own A.D.R

equipment pack and detailed check list. Each van has panic buttons fitted, are sealed upon collection or delivery and seal numbers are noted on all relevant paperwork. We ensure our drivers go through a rigorous training program, including vehicle safety / maintenance, fridge mechanical systems as well as transporting hazardous goods.

Driver Knowledge

All of our drivers have excellent knowledge of destinations across the UK and Europe. Each van is fitted with complete driver comforts for long durations away from base.

GDP Compliant

Good Distribution Practice (GDP) is a fundamental requirement that demonstrates we are compliant to transport, handle and distribute Pharmaceutical products. Our drivers are all trained to GDP standards.

Step 1

The customer makes freight transport booking with us. We usually confirm within one hour of request, agreeing to all specified conditions.

Step 2

Requirements are logged into our system and then assigned to the appropriate vehicle and driver.

Step 3

Throughout the trip, the vehicle and driver are monitored regularly to ensure we meet the customers needs.

Step 4

Once delivered, the customer is notified with a POD including a temperature report breakdown of the full journey.
